Oscar excels at creating dynamic digital experiences that engage users and drive results for his clients. In his work, he combines his expertise in UI design principles with a deep understanding of UX research to craft intuitive and visually appealing interfaces informed by data.
Projects
Oscar has experience working on a variety of intensive UX/UI projects; his most recent client has been Nomie, a Canadian edtech startup. Currently, he is working toward landing his first full-time job in the field after completing two successful product development internships with Firstly.com and the Velo Group. He is committed to staying ahead of industry trends and continuously evolving as a professional in the ever-changing design space.
Education
Oscar has recently earned a certificate in UX/UI design from Springboard, an online bootcamp featuring 700+ hours of hands-on course material, with 1:1 expert mentor oversight and completion of 4 in-depth portfolio projects. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wesleyan University, where he graduated early in December 2023.
When Oscar isn't refining his design skills, he's often immersed in the world of cinema. You might spot him at an indie movie screening, discussing the latest releases with fellow cinephiles, or serving as a producer or writer on a short film.
